Brief Plot: The boys hunting trip is threatened by activity from a nearby volcano and a mysterious creature.

Fun Fact:

• Stan's father, the geologist, is based on Trey Parker's father - also a geologist.

Oops:

• The clocks behind the geologist (Stan's father) have inconsistant times. South Park is in the Mountain time zone, yet the big hand is not on the same minute as NY and LA.
• The lava is right behind Jimbo, Ned, and the kids as they run down the mountain. They are then worried that they'll be burned by the lava. The lava ends up coming from a completely different angle and wouldn't have touched them at all.
• How does Scuzzlebutt get across the river or lava to accept thanks from the Mayor? Did he lift himself over? Did he build a bridge?
• Ned tries to shoot Scuzzlebutt, but he's out of ammo. After Stan kills Scuzzlebutt, Ned drops his gun and shoots Kenny. When did he reload?
