PatrickD's Phoenix Force cargo vessel: L.S.S. Condor

The L.S.S. Condor is a cargo vessel for Phoenix Force. It can dock aboard The Starfire when not on assignment. It was the seventh vehicle to be designed and built for Phoenix Force.

Here we see the skilled pilot, Lt. jg M. Martin, and the co-pilot Lt. jg K. Zientek. They were both recruited by the squadron commander to fly the L.S.S. Condor.

On the right side of Condor is a multishield generator. On the left side is a dual phaser cannon. Both of these raise up into position when they are in use.

Behind the cockpit of the Condor is the cargo area. Materials can be loaded through the top hatch.

Due to the fact that the cargo area occupies the place where the hyperdrive would normally be found, the twin ion hyperdrive engines were mounted on the side of the vessel. The impulse engines were moved to the top of the rudders. Two impulse engines were also added below the cockpit to stabilize the thrust.
On the very back of the ship is a tractor beam. This is used to tow large cargo or disabled starships. The Condor and Starfire are the only Phoenix Force ships with a tractor beam.
